CFD Engineer – Mechanical – New York, NY Our client is an Engineering Design and Commissioning Company that has a national footprint and specializes in MEP critical facilities design. They provide design, commissioning, consulting and management expertise in the Critical Facilities Space. The ideal candidate will have past experience designing, coordinating and running CFD models both exterior modeling and interior modeling using Cadence Reality DC (formerly Future Facilities 6SixgmaDCX product line) using the latest versions of Datacenter Design Pro. The CFD Engineering Specialist will collaborate and work with senior design staff to further develop their CFD expertise for data center design and construction. Responsibilities: Create designs, coordinates and runs CFD modeling: exterior modeling and interior modeling using Cadence Reality DC (formerly Future Facilities 6SixgmaDCX product line) using the latest versions of Datacenter Design Pro Work as part of the Engineering Team and interact closely with the Project Management Team to produce construction documents, develop and edit project specifications and assist in the construction administration process The CFD Engineer will receive limited direction and instruction on new projects or assignments and will work independently or under limited supervision. Will assist project leadership on projects of complex scope Communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives
