A fully competent Controls Field Technician – Applies an intensive and diversified knowledge of complete Controls and Building automation systems platforms such as EPMS (Electrical and Power Monitoring Systems), BAS Systems (Building Automation Systems), or BMS System (Building Monitor Systems) in a data center or industrial environment – testing and operations. Responsible for programming, integration, implementation commissioning, maintaining and providing emergency support on critical controls systems at customers’ sites within their respective regional area. They will troubleshoot, install, and make upgrades to existing automation systems for power and cooling systems in a live, mission-critical environment. They will assist in complete startup, commissioning, and validation procedures of these systems. They will collaborate with the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering / Design teams, Software Development teams, Project Managers, Construction Contractors, Equipment Vendors, Field Techs and Site Operations teams to ensure the reliability, proper operations, acceptance of new and modified installations, automations and software solutions.
