Overview BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support TEALMISSILE, at Annapolis Junction, MD. Salary The typical annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00 USD to $200,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range. Responsibilities Shall have at least eight (8) years’ experience in DevOps development/engineering such as installing and configuring software; managing servers, networks, and technology tools; monitoring and maintaining systems for required levels of security, performance, and accreditation; and troubleshooting issues and outages Shall have at least eight (8) years’ experience in DevOps technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, ELK Shall have at least eight (8) years’ experience in scripting such as Terraform, Ansible Shall have familiarity with developing DevOps for Microsoft Windows or UNIX/Linux/Centos family of operating systems Shall understand technical writing and have familiarity with technical documents in support of a software development project Efforts will focus on DevOps engineering of a modernization effort to converge NSA’s authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools Deploying applications; installing and configuring complex software; managing network servers and technology tools; monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance; and troubleshooting issues and outages Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every 4-6 weeks) Staff may charge 4 additi
