Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Electrical Pre-Tester. The hours for this postion are 6am-2:30pm The hourly rate for this position is 25.00 hourly per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you’ll do: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Eaton is currently seeking an Electrical Pre-Tester to join our team. This position is based at our Sumter, SC facility. Position Overview: The Electrical Tester will verify correct wiring, verify components, program controllers, and evolve to assist with conducting electrical testing of switchboard products and components, as required, per applicable test procedure and/or component literature with the overall goal of timely order fulfillment and adherence to Eaton’s quality standards. In this function you will: • Inspect wiring and Test Switchboard product produced on all lines, according to testing work instructions and in accordance with applicable governmental requirements, to uncover product non-conformances. Document inspections made on applicable checklist • Utilize continuity tester, trip test kits. Verify switches and circuit breakers function properly. Conduct electrical tests per safety and training requirements and procedures. (Shunt Trip, configuration, NETA testing.) • Verify that any revisions released to the production floor regarding wiring are incorporated into the product, all documentation reflects the current revision, and previous revisions of documents are destroyed. • Ensure that component literature and necessary product document…
