Role description: Arcadis is seeking an experienced Environmental Field Technician. This position reports to Melville, NY and will support work in Long Island, the five boroughs of New York City, upstate New York, and New Jersey. The Environmental Field Technician will assist in the environmental field services for several different clients. Typical activities will include surface and groundwater monitoring and sampling, soil sampling, soil remediation oversight, operation and maintenance of remedial systems, and subcontractor oversight. The ideal candidate will have environmental site investigation and monitoring experience and strong ability to communicate effectively with project teams both verbally and through written field work documentation. Candidates local to Long Island are preferred as this position will require field work and occasionally reporting to field offices for meetings and picking up equipment and materials. This Environmental Field Technician position sits within the larger Global Resilience Business Area.
