A US security clearance may or may not be required for this position, therefore applicants must be clearable.** Compunetix is seeking a Junior Hardware Engineer to work with a team of engineers to design high-speed digital hardware for our telecommunications systems. Responsibilities: Design high-speed digital hardware for telecommunication systems Design and debug microprocessor-based PCBs using general purpose CPUs and DSPs FPGA design, debug and simulation Write test code for production tests as well as engineering checkout. Requirements: BSEE, MSEE preferred, 0-5 years’ experience focusing on high speed digital and/or microprocessor design. Familiarity with FPGA’s, VHDL and simulation Familiarity with C Experience with schematic design and layout tools such as SolidWorks, OrCAD, Hyperlinks and Allegro Documentation experience desired We offer competitive wages and an excellent benefits package.
