Eaton’s CTO Corporate Technology Office division is currently seeking a Power Electronics Engineering Intern. The hourly rate for this position is $37.50 per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you’ll do: Job Summary Eaton’s Research Labs (ERL) has an exciting Engineering Intern position in the Power Conversion group to support research and technology development in emerging technology programs. The job function includes developing and testing innovative power conversion technologies and support senior engineers in software, hardware development and testing. The individual will also suport the ongoing modeling, simulation, and HIL development. A key role will be to support presenting ideas and projects to Eaton business leaders and leadership. Ability to develop models and simulate in common power electronics simulation packages is necessary. Communicate complicated technologies in a clear and concise way to a variety of different audiences. A good blend of technical knowledge and is required to be successful in this position. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Technology Manager. This position is in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Job Responsibilities * As a technical intern, support emerging power conversion & power system solutions based on breakthrough technologies for industrial and aerospace applications. * Participate in technology projects by supporting teams (local and remote resources) and working with external technology resources (Business Divisions, Universities and Customers). * Support advancement of state of the art power electronics, power systems, and power converter technologies, as well as supporting the identification of commercialization opportunities with diverse Eaton businesses. * Collaborate with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural globally distribu…
