Role description: Arcadis is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team in the Denver, Colorado area. This position would support multiple sectors, including mining, oil and gas, and rail. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and planning of hydraulic modeling/calculations, erosion and sediment control evaluations and layout, watershed evaluations, and earthwork site design, as well as permit/construction-level drawings and details. Work will entail a mixture of engineering design, permitting, proposal and report writing, and construction-phase field engineering. Arcadis offers a flexible working environment and follows a hybrid work structure. A successful candidate will work from the office and remotely based on demands of project and client teams. Role accountabilities: In this role, you will apply your technical knowledge to support a range of environmental projects. You will also be responsible for preparing technical specifications and report writing for civil and environmental permitting. Therefore, you must have strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling (e.g., HydroCAD, WinTR-55, PondPack, HEC-RAS), and use your familiarity with government, client, and industry local codes, regulations, and standards governing design and construction projects to deliver projects.
