Senior Electrical Engineer – New York, NY Our client is a Leading Engineering Design and Commissioning Company that has a national footprint. This challenging and unique role will involve acting as a senior electrical engineer, designing critical power systems for new data centers and expansions to existing data centers. The ideal candidate will have past experience designing electrical systems specifically for large data centers. They will have experience and in-depth knowledge of Electrical Power Systems / Power Distribution System design and installation. Previous experience with electrical equipment design to include Generators, UPS systems, PDUs and electrical switchgear is a must. They will be proficient using AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP to develop electrical construction models and documents. You will help lead the design and effectively work with / communicate with all the trades and stakeholders involved in the project. Responsibilities: Manage projects, create designs and plans, provided and gather specifications, and execute assignments in a multidisciplinary electrical engineering design role for all sizes of data center facility design projects- enterprise data centers, Colocation Providers and for Hyperscale Companies. Create Conceptual Designs gathered from meetings with the client for Field Engineer focus Work with Management to respond to RFPs; Review shop drawings and submittals; Review and respond to RFI
