Role accountabilities: * Working as a key participant in our Mining Sector Team, providing technical leadership and contributing to critical projects. * Applying geotechnical engineering principles to develop effective solutions for surface mining projects, including tailings facilities, open pits, and mine reclamation efforts. * Performing geotechnical engineering reviews and providing key input on large-scale, complex projects across the US and internationally. * Mentoring and developing mid-level and junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. * Supporting business development by identifying and pursuing growth opportunities with existing and new clients. * Acting as or becoming the Engineer of Record on appropriate projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance. This role provides a dynamic mix of feasibility studies, design, construction quality assurance, and client engagement, providing opportunities for professional growth and leadership within the mining sector.
