Job Description

Position Summary The Senior Production Planner is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing production schedules to meet customer demand, inventory goals, and operational objectives. This role ensures alignment between production capacity, material availability, labor resources, and business priorities. As a senior member of the planning team, this position supports process improvement, resolves planning constraints, and serves as a key liaison between Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service. Reporting Relationships The Senior Production Planner will report to the Production Planning Supervisor. Location This position will be based in Hialeah, FL. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Production Planning & Scheduling Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, inventory levels, capacity, and material availability. Prioritize and sequence production orders to support on-time delivery and operational efficiency. Adjust schedules as needed due to demand changes, material shortages, capacity constraints, or production disruptions. Monitor schedule performance and communicate risks, changes, and recovery plans to stakeholders. Material & Inventory Planning Determine material, component, and resource requirements to support production plans.
